The only decision that prevents you from moving forward and controlling your life is the indecision
INDECISION IS THE WORST ENEMY OF PROGRESS
Fear of the unknown, or not being able to control all variables leads us to avoid making decisions. There is no more powerful force to block the achievement of our objectives than indecision.
Indecision Is The Worst Enemy of Progress
The fear of taking the wrong decision leads us to do nothing, but this in itself is a decision, it is just the wrong one.
Not giving yourself a chance with someone you like, because you don’t feel attractive enough or smart enough and prefer not to do anything, it’s a decision. Not applying to the job you’re interested in, because you don’t know if you will be able to perform and prefer to wait for a later opportunity, it’s a decision.
What these decisions have in common is that none of them allow you to move forward and achieve your goals.
If you give yourself the opportunity with that person and realize it’s not the right one, you can always end the relationship and learn exactly what you want for the next. The path to conquering a goal is full of many wrong paths that help you outline the right one.
Applying to the job and being rejected because you don’t meet a requirement, tells you exactly what you need to improve before reapplying and brings you closer to the goal of getting that job.
NOT MAKING DECISIONS KEEPS YOU FROM REACHING OUT YOUR GOALS, BUT EVEN WORSE, IT DEVIATE FROM THE RIGHT WAY TO ACHIEVE IT.
When you realize that you are in a situation that is not desired and where you feel stuck, the reason is indecision. Wrong decisions will tell you the right path.
DON’T WAIT FOR THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY
Make decisions. If you don’t have the instinct or information to decide which one is right, just take the one that makes the most sense to you and move forward until you get a better way.
There are paths that are not clear until you’re in them.
Don’t expect the perfect opportunity and timing to come, learn to outline your life the way you want it.
